I am a finger on a string...
Walden books was having a buy 4 get the 5th free book sale...I totally missed out dammit. If the stupid couch people had arrived in the earlier part of the delivery window(btwn 1 and 4PM) and not the last 10 minutes of it, I might have had the chance to go. Oh well...gotta wait for the next sale I guess...
Couch update
I don't know if I ever mentioned this before and I'm too lazy to look at my past blogs to see if I have or not, but I never knew that the Salvation Army was a Christian organization. Pretty cool. But here's what's NOT cool, the couches got REJECTED! Can you believe that? I guess they weren't in good enough condition to be given to someone who needed them...even with a little work. So instead, they left us the number for "someone who will pick it up," which ended up being the Dept of Sanitation. We also decided to get rid of the recliner that no one ever used before and will definitely not be used with the new couches, so I was just gonna add that to the sanitation checklist, but thought better of it. So I called Salvation Army again and hopefully this one WILL be good enough to take. If not, I can always add it to the sanitation list later on... I never realized how difficult it was to get rid of stuff man...sheesh..
So out with the old and in with the new... So with that said, the new couches are, well, in one word....awesome! Sooooo comfy man, for real...come over and give 'em a try!
Had more I wanted to say...but I'd rather veg out in front of my comp until it's time to go...
